Geographe Community Landcare Nursery only grows a fraction of our local flora, but we think we have made a good start in discovering the best local species for cultivation in revegetation projects or for gardens and landscaping.

Our nursery depends on the enthusiasm of the local community to assist us in growing the local flora. Please consider spending some time helping us - there are many different tasks, and some are actually pleasant! To arrange a visit, please email us or call us on the numbers listed on the Contact Us page. More ...

If you would like to help us photograph our flora, please contact us.

Our Local Plants in Cultivation (by genus) page shows which of our local species have a cultivation history. Species which are cultivated in nurseries around Australia at the present time are highlighted.

FloraBase
(the Western Australian Herbarium website) is the best place online to gather an overall picture of the Western Australian flora. You can explore the Western Australian flora in several ways from the front page. There are photos of many of our local species on FloraBase.

Our browse our flora A - Zpages contain as complete a picture as we have been able to make of our local flora. From time to time, edits will be required, as we discover mistakes, omissions, discrepancies, . . .

You may be able to help - please contact us if you notice anything amiss.
